At Phoenixborn Creations, we believe mascots are more than just characters — they’re brand storytellers. Each mascot we create is custom-built to represent a brand’s personality, values, and voice. In this case study, we’re highlighting three standout mascot logo projects that brought brands to life: Phoenixborn Creations’ own fiery phoenix, Sir Gregory’s Stitchery’s noble frog knight, and Uno from OnePath, a futuristic symbol of innovation.

🔥 Phoenixborn Creations — The Rebirth of a Brand
Mascot: Oryn, the Artist Phoenix
Tone: Bold, imaginative, creative
Goal: Design a flagship identity that visually embodies the essence of the studio: rebirth, creativity, and impact.
The Story:
As the heart and name of the business, the Phoenix had to strike a delicate balance — fierce yet welcoming, mythic yet modern. “Oryn,” the mascot, symbolizes creative rebirth and the power of storytelling through design. Her stylized wings and upward gaze represent transformation and limitless potential. Her paintbrush represents creativity and the original focus for the company on illustrations.
The Process:
Inspired by mythology and personal journey, Oryn was sketched through several rounds of exploration, focusing on sleek lines and a modern color palette of ember-orange, obsidian black, and sunrise gold. The final result is a confident and elegant figure that commands attention — perfect for a studio built from imagination.
The Impact:
Oryn became more than a logo — she’s the visual voice of Phoenixborn Creations. She appears across branding materials, merch, and even makes cameos in client decks and social posts, helping solidify a unique, recognizable presence in the creative industry.

🧵 Sir Gregory’s Stitchery — A Knight with Needle & Thread
Mascot: Sir Gregory, the Frog Knight
Tone: Whimsical, cozy, clever
Goal: Create a mascot logo that blends medieval charm with handmade craftsmanship for a fantasy-themed embroidery shop.
The Story:
Sir Gregory’s Stitchery needed a character that could bridge old-world fantasy with the modern crafting world. Enter Sir Gregory — a noble frog knight wielding a silver embroidery needle like a sword. He was based on a tree frog commonly found in the area the owner lives, and his pose mimics an actual frog on a branch as well as it being his trusty sword.
The Process:
We began with moodboards pulling from Dungeons & Dragons, historical heraldry, the owner’s actual frog sewing weight, and cozy cottagecore vibes. Sir Gregory’s expression had to feel kind yet brave — ready to defend the honor of every handmade stitch. The linework is soft but structured, and the palette includes whimsical hues of Kelly Green, lavendar, and silver.
The Impact:
Sir Gregory quickly became the face of the brand across web, socials, and community events. He brings a light-hearted but memorable identity to a niche market, making the brand instantly recognizable and deeply loved by fans and fiber artists alike.
🤖 OnePath’s Uno — The Smartest Mascot in the Room
Mascot: Uno, the AI Navigator
Tone: Friendly, futuristic, efficient
Goal: Develop a tech-forward mascot that humanizes a complex service model in the home services industry.
The Story:
OnePath is revolutionizing customer experience in home services, and they wanted a character to match their forward-thinking mission. “Uno” was designed as a sleek, digital assistant — equal parts robot and roadrunner to symbolize how quick he will be to use. He’s got big expressive eyes, an approachable beak and face, and a glowing sneakers on his feet to run in.
The Process:
Working closely with OnePath’s leadership, we explored a wide range of AI and tech visuals before landing on a minimalist, app-friendly form. Uno’s design had to feel helpful and intuitive, so we emphasized round shapes, calming blues, and gentle animations. His silhouette is simple enough to work on mobile icons, but expressive enough for animated explainers and app interactions.
The Impact:
Uno has been integrated into OnePath’s entire visual language — from customer portals to presentation decks to animated social content. He gives the brand a consistent tone of warmth and intelligence, setting OnePath apart in a crowded market.
✨ Final Thoughts: Why Mascots Matter
Mascots aren’t just illustrations — they’re emotional anchors. Whether it’s a phoenix rising from the ashes, a gallant quilting knight, or a helpful AI assistant, mascots make brands relatable, memorable, and full of heart. At Phoenixborn Creations, we’re proud to craft characters that do more than look good — they connect.
