At Phoenixborn Creations, we bring thought to reality. My mission is to turn imagination into tangible, compelling design experiences that spark connection and inspire action.

Who I Am
It’s a pleasure to meet you! My name is Annika “Nix” Thomas, and I am a self-taught designer, creative strategist, and the founder of Phoenixborn Creations.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Supervision and Management, and I’m currently based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Outside of running Phoenixborn Creations, I volunteer my time as an Adobe Community Expert to continue helping new and established users of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Additionally, I produce graphic design educational webinars and speak on multiple topics that emphasize my passion for visual storytelling, branding, and empowering others through design.

From Passion to Purpose

Phoenixborn Creations was born from my love for design and storytelling. Officially established in 2019, we’ve come a long way from just simple art commissions for Dungeons and Dragons. Now we build entire brands from scratch and help companies achieve their marketing goals and creative visions.

Where I’m Headed

My dream? To take the Adobe MAX stage as a keynote speaker and share my journey with the world. As a passionate advocate for creative freedom and self-taught designers, I want to inspire others to follow their path—regardless of background or formal education.
